This Vinyasa Flow Yoga Class integrates breathing and movement through
asana sequences by linking your breath with flowing, yoga poses.  Join us
for a vigorous, flowing yoga class that is restorative, calming and an
amazing form of exercise that will get your heart rate up with yoga poses
that stretch your body and mind.

Vinyasa and Yoga Flow Class
MS Class

This class is sponsored and supported by the MS Society.  Yoga is
considered a part of the wellness options for people living with MS.  The
classes will include:

Breathing Techniques
Chair Yoga Poses & Standing Yoga Poses
Restorative Poses
Meditation
Relaxation

Classes will begin with a short meditation and breathing exercise to center
and relax you, a warm up period of stretching, yoga pose practice and
ending with a deep relaxation to calm your mind, body and spirit.  

This class has something for everyone and every body.  All poses will be
modified for individuals using a wheelchair or who are not able to get on a
yoga mat.   

This is a gentle introduction to yoga for students who have never taken a
yoga class, are beginners to yoga (attended less than 10 classes) or need
a refresher for their yoga practice.  You will learn the foundation of Hatha
Yoga, Simple Meditation Techniques and Breathing Exercises.  This can be
the beginning of an exciting journey toward your increased well being.

Intro/Gentle
Yoga for People with Intellectual Disabilities

These classes and programs are designed for people with intellectual and
physical  disabilities who may need assistance or a great deal of motivation
to try yoga poses.  The visualization, imagination and meditation component
of the classes may help with anxiety, depression and aggressive behaviors.  

The yoga poses, stretching and movement can increase flexibility, strength
and increase well being as well as provide an outlet for creative expression.  

These programs can be tailored to best meet the needs of your activity
schedule, your program budget, staff and program participants.  I am also
available for consultation if you would like assistance designing IHP goal
modifications, completing release forms or keeping daily training records.
